About the event

Our featured speaker this month is Nicole Ryf, President of the Kenosha Area Business Alliance (KABA).

As the President of KABA, Nicole leads initiatives that position Kenosha County, WI, as the premier destination for new investment and talent in the Chicago-Milwaukee Corridor. Nicole was recently recognized as one of the top economic developers in North America.

Nicole brings 15+ years of economic and community development experience at the local, regional, and state levels to her role at KABA. Past leadership roles have included serving as the Executive Director of the Waukesha County Center for Growth and Chief Strategy Officer of the Hampton Roads Alliance, a regional economic development organization based in Norfolk, VA. At the Hampton Roads Alliance, Nicole led strategic initiatives around business recruitment and expansion, including a core initiative of positioning Hampton Roads as the East Coast hub for the supply chain that will support the developing offshore wind industry.

Nicole also spent more than five years working for the Texas Governor’s Office. Her responsibilities included overseeing business recruitment and expansion efforts, incentive and finance programs, trade initiatives, community relations, and small business support activities. During her time with the Governor's Office, Nicole contributed to the location decisions of companies that ultimately announced more than 55,600 jobs and committed to at least $47 billion in capital investment in Texas.

Nicole has undergraduate degrees in History and International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Hope to see you there and don't forget we have a new meeting place! We are meeting at The Stella in the Card Room on the north side of the building.

Please RSVP no later than Friday, July 5, 2024, by 5pm to reserve your seat. Registration is required. We are not able to accommodate late registrations.
