“The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything.

When I started dating Tom in high school he was already working at the agency and soon travel quickly became a big part of our relationship.

At the heart of why I love this industry is that Travel is a great means to connect with family.  Whether you are traveling with family or visiting them domestically/Internationally there is nothing that creates a stronger bond and greater understanding of family than travel!  My favorite travel experience is the journey to Rodi, Italy, a coastal village on the Adriatic Sea.  Being removed from the touristy and commercialism really made it an adventure but knowing that it was the town my grandfather was born in made it spiritual.  Being welcomed by family we never met or even previously spoke to stirred so many feelings.   Words just can’t properly describe an event like that.

The Greek Islands are next on my list, the unique beauty, food and culture are all very appealing to me. Knowing that the companies we work with will handle all the details that will allow me to fully immerse myself into the journey is the only way to travel. The true definition of a good agency isn’t based on how good my own vacations are but more importantly  how GREAT the vacations of our customers are.  Our goal is simple, to provide you with the value and service that will bring you back to book your next vacation with us. Stop in the office or contact me anytime to discuss any questions you may have about working with a travel professional!

“You don’t get extra credit for doing what you’re supposed to do.”
– Chris Rock

Let me say this upfront, I’m not big on change.

I still have my High School job, I’m married to my High School Sweetheart, I still listen to Grateful Dead and I still believe that providing great service is the key to success, and all of these instilled in me in the early 80’s.

I’m being a little facetious about “change”, there are few other industries that have evolved and changed as much as the travel industry or have had as many casualties.    Through a lot of hard work, creativity and commitment from some really great people here at LaMacchia Travel we continue to provide a great value and service.

What does this mean for you? This means that my experiences, relationships, knowledge and commitment are all here for your vacation benefit. We love what we do…. we sell vacations and experiences and we want you to buy your next one from us.  Call, email or stop in and see what we have to offer, if you like what you see and what we have to offer, we move forward-if you don’t , no problem. It’s just that simple.

FYI just recently I went back to my high school haircut, let me know what you think.
