February Luncheon


Tara was born and raised in Kenosha and currently resides there with her daughter who is a Junior at Mount Mary University majoring in Social Work and her three adorable dogs.  With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Concordia University, Tara holds the position of Chief Executive Officer for the United Way of Kenosha County.  Prior to her role at United Way, Tara worked as the Vice President of Cash Management for Southport Bank and prior to that, spent 14 years working for Johnson Bank holding various positions throughout her career.

Tara currently serves on the Board of Directors for Lakeside Curative Services, Band of Blue – a nonprofit organization with a nationwide focus on providing support to the children of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty, and Kenosha County Workforce Development.  In addition, she is on the Executive Committee for Building Our Future, a Kenosha County initiative where our vision is everyone will achieve their personal potential from cradle to career. Tara is passionate about volunteerism and is a Foster Mom for Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue and a Big Sister for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kenosha County.  In recognition of her volunteer and fundraising efforts, Tara was honored as the 2013 Young Professional of the Year for Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce, the 2012 Community Service Award winner for Johnson Financial Group, and was a 2016 Community Trustee Honoree for the Journal Times Positively Racine Publication.
