Megan Bernardy – Wells
Megan Bernardy-Wells is a native of Kenosha and graduated from Bradford High School. In 2001, she received a basketball scholarship to Evangel University in Springfield, MO where she spent four years and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Media.
After working five years as the Promotions & Marketing Manager for U.S. Missions at the Assemblies of God National Headquarters in Missouri, she returned to Wisconsin where she pursued her master’s degree in Sports Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
While enrolled in school, Megan was hired at Herzing University as an admissions advisor and has remained there since 2011. Her current role includes community relations for the University and assisting the campus president. Recently, Megan was also hired on as adjunct faculty at Cardinal Stritch University where she teaches sports marketing in addition to her full-time role at Herzing.
Outside of work, Megan is actively involved in the local, anti-human trafficking organization, Hope Run Kenosha. In their 3rd year, Megan has lead the marketing and PR components of the 5k run/2 mile walk and has seen attendance of over 1,000 participants each year. She is also on the planning committee for the Human Trafficking Forum hosted at Journey Church and sits on the newly developed Kenosha Human Trafficking Task Force.
Megan is a newlywed and resides with her husband, Andy, in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
